vts_01_4-14.jpgWastewater Treatment Facility – Completion 2010 - Ahead of  schedule and budget. McComb Wastewater Treatment Facility has now become a Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility for McComb, Summit, Magnolia and Pike County. A 34 million dollar project funded.

vts_01_3-18.jpgEast-West Frontage Road – Environmental Assessment in progress. Frontage road East and West from Delaware to Hwy 24. This project, when completed, will attract more business to the McComb area.

Elevated Tank Storage (1,000,000 gallon) work began June 2009.

Storm Water Drainage Project (USACE Section 592) Construction ongoing at Michigan/Elmwood and New York Ave and Summit Streets. 35% complete.

National Resource Conversation Services eleven (11) locations submitted, eleven (11) locations approved.

Highway 570 Utlity Adjustment – MDOT has placed this project out for bids.

AARA Mill and Overlay Project – Project is for improvement to the intersections of Locust and Pearl River Avenues and Summit St and Magnolia Avenue. Project 80% completed.

Parklane Improvement Requested that Parklane Rd from 24th Street to 98 Hwy be added to the Functional Classification System. This was approved. Parklane Road is now eligible for funding under STP.

Blighted Properties – more than 50 blighted properties have been cleaned or removed. This number continues to grow.
